The dough (and I know what I'm talking about) is 5 out of 5. Dense, moderately sweet, crunchy when cooling.
Peanut butter waffles are a bomb!

The taro egg waffles are amazing!
I feel like this guy is misunderstood. He's been serving these for more than 10 years and he swears by having the waffles cooled down. So even if he makes a fresh batch he won't serve them until they cool down.
老闆態度好差。問佢可唔可以整過一底熱嘅雞蛋仔。佢就話凍嘅先脆。我堅持 佢先好唔情願整。一路整一路好多野講。不過呢啲都算啦。最大問題係個雞蛋仔真係好難食。冇雞蛋味,好似全部都係麵粉黎咁。應該叫麵粉仔先啱。
I am revising my review after my latest visit a week ago. This place used to be my favourite egg waffle (雞蛋仔) in HK, but it was a huge disappointment last week
Will give it a try sometime in the future, to decide whether it can be upgraded to 4-star (long way before it can get back to 5-star given my horrible experience recently) or will be further downgraded and forever banned.

呢間豐記雞蛋仔, 食左好多年, 以前係唐樓下一角仔已經幫襯
回憶總是美好的, 可惜今次失望了
個老闆講就天下無敵, 而家做就真係明顯無曬心力
以前每底都係即時落單做, 起碼我以前真係食到即時製作出爐的
叫左一底格仔餅, 又軟又濕, 叫左多醬同平時一樣份量
格仔餅應該係外面有硬脆度, 而內層帶點綿有彈性
可惜佢而家係整定曬, 落單15秒都未夠就比左我
明顯放了好耐, 無曬熱度, 焗到有濕氣, 令格仔餅口感變軟變濕潤
好食唔怕貴, 可惜係令人失望的結果

Best in Kowloon side's egg waffle! Crispy but juicy. Even after a while, it's still keep the texture and juciy! Must try HK street food here! I have been their fnas of egg waffle for more than 15 years. My kids fall n love with that too!
Wanted to try the Hong Kong egg waffles so my friend took me here. First thing I noticed was that they had waffles with different flavours. Had to try the taro since that is one of my favourites. The waffle had the nice purple colour of the taro and it was really nice. Crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle. Although the egg waffle area was out front, it looks like they also do other food stuffs in the back.

Terrible egg waffle that ruins the name of signature HK street food. Don’t waste $18 on this thing.there are way better egg waffles in HK than this.
Yummy egg ball waffle, the HK signature local snack. They place the waffle in front of a fan to make sure it's crispy:)
Sadly, the price has gone up quite a lot over years.
