香港JEN酒店

This hotel is so old, that the staff are literally unable to remove mold from the walls of the showers. I mean, black splotches on all four corners of the shower, extremely visible even without lighting.

The curtains are so old and lined with dust, that if you accidentally misalign the shades, you can see a black edge on both sides of the roll down shades.

Also, they call it a mountain view king room, but it's a queen bed.

Breakfast at Cafe Mallorca is great, and actually proximity to HKU station is fine all things considered.

But the rooms are good awful.

- Great breakfast with both Asian specialties and Western standards

Good hotel, amazing staff, great location, and amazing Sharon from the lobby bar who continually assisted us with information and instructions on getting about, what to do, how to do etc. Amazing staff member.

Came in at 8am for check-in and requested for a room with a queen bed. Was given a room with 2 single beds and called reception to clarify, saying there is no more rooms available.

Really ridiculous given that my booking is for a single person and wouldn’t need 2 single beds. Sad that a Shangri-La brand that I trusted so much is so poorly executed given the lack of service execution or even service recovery.

Wouldn’t recommend staying here at all.

Staff are helpful and nice.
Rooms are small but expected.
Overall, this is a very nice hotel and super close to the metro station.

PS: Because the hotel replied my comments. I appreciate this attitude a lot to do follow-up. I edited the review to 4-star. That star deduced is not for the hotel. Just Hong Kong is too small and rooms are really small.

Rooms were very clean and there was a conditioner too. There were stains in floor in the toilet other than that beds, pillows and blankets were very soft.

I was treated very well all throughout my stay. The room and breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations.

The stay was most pleasant. From the front desk to the Concierge, checking-in and checking-out was smooth. The waitering staff and chef at breakfast are friendly and even offer advice on where visit and what to do.

The staff was incredibly considerate. Handled every inquiry promptly and with a smile on their face. Highly recommended.

Good location and room are clean and tidy. Reception & Concierge staff very courtesy and professional. Check in and Check out very fast and warm. 28/F Club Lounge provided very good coffee and high service standard.

Great hotel in a local area with good transport links. Very comfortable bed, great harbor view, helpful staff.

Overall I had a great experience with my stay, especially the front desk staffs. All were very friendly. The only imperfect side is the room decors and facilities are a bit dated. I see rusted shower head and walls in the bathroom, and the bath tub has dents.

When we check in, the time is already past 1am. The front desk staff has been very friendly and efficient. It made our check in very smooth and without any issue.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jen Hotel, our room was clean and the location is superb for getting into town by MTR or by taxi. Particular thanks to the staff for contacting us regarding a valuable lost property!

Hotel Jen is a exceptional choice of stay with high value. The staff is good with dealing with travelers and capable of handling lots of guest requests. They are surely the signature of the hotel.

We stayed in a King bed room on 13th floor with harbour view. Though the view was considerably blocked by the buildings, still the view was pleasant. Though the room was a bit small, it was efficiently planned. The bed was super comfy and large enough for three persons. Front desk was super efficient. The breakfast spread at Cafe Malacca was fabulous. HKU MTR station is just round the corner. Overall, we had a great stay with Jen.

Enjoyed my stay in this hotel.very clean environment and good enough space for me and my husband.staff is very friendly and helpful.convenient to all local stores hiking and jogging up to hk university and trail to the peak.definitely recommend to my friends.

I know Hotel JEN such as 4 Star Hotel, I'm sure they will do very well.because this hotel gives me the feeling of being home. Because when I go back to the hotel, they are very enthusiastic and make the guests very comfortable. Plus some greetings are very different from ordinary hotels.

Their Location and transportation are super convenient. The daily surprises are. There is Hong Kong old nostalgic food is to mix the sausage powder and other sauces together. I also have introduced more than foreign tourists and introduce this food.

MY opinion is Whenever and where coming back to H. K, I'm definitely will stay and live in HOTEL JEN
